For people upset about Merrick Garland: he’s doing his job. Biden wouldn’t mind an investigation, but the previous President would stop at anything to not get caught.

An image of toxic masculinity: Dana White in his press conference yesterday said it was wrong that he hit back on his wife, yet his fans go up in arms blaming the wife since she hit first. These guys want to have what they want, even though they say don’t.

For those who live in Virginia, this result is significant this year and we need a lot more voters this upcoming year for the Virginia State Senate to block the Youngkin agenda twitter.com/briantylercohen/st

So Vince McMahon sold WWE to the Saudis. While he gets all of the money and control back, he loses nearly everything else. And now free agency is going to be big for other wrestling promotions. I feel sorry for the wrestlers as they just got back in the groove and this news drops. Now, there’s an SEC investigation with the WWE, but I don’t think it will be severe that Vince loses it.

Autopsies of COVID patients show how COVID has spread through the body and multi-organ exposure including the brain. It lasts much longer than expected and could relate to long Covid. Its not over. And it's not just like the flu.

I’m happy is getting better and these players care about him and deserves recognition. My worry is I’m amazed this is a second incident in the NFL about this and thought it could been more. I hope it’s not a trend. Also, I hope the NFL and his inner circle take care of the money people are donating. It’s more than expected. It’s fine, but you need to alter plans if you have this.

I don't know what's good: The Speaker of the House vote or the Berhalters and Reynas hating one another and that Gio Reyna's mom leaked the video?

I can't wait for a mystery candidate to swoop in and win Speaker.

It's going to be so funny if George Santos becomes Speaker when everyone in the GOP side doesn't have the votes.

Congressman George Santos will be seated today.

We all know this guy is a fraud.

Everything about Santos is a lie.
He can't be trusted. You can't trust a single word out of his mouth. Not one.

...and as it turns out there's no mechanism for doing anything about it.

We KNOW he's a fraud, but we're going to let him run our government anyway.

Americans just kind of shrug, welp, what you gonna do, amiright?

And if that ain't just a goddamn metaphor for America, I don't know what is.

One other thing: when people say athletes are overpaid:

-Networks spend a lot to show you these games. It is coveted
-There's a risk playing these games and why they get compensated heavily.
-It's not your money
-Finally, athletes are actually underpaid on what they do. Owners hog up most of the profits and wanted the salary cap not to level the field, but have every owner be happy. It's why so many MLB owners are pissed at Steve Cohen.

Also, I praise ESPN for their coverage. They were in an impossible situation and handle it with care and awareness of the situation. They're not a highlight show, but I would argue ESPN has the best journalism in all of cable. I wish cable news networks saw what ESPN did, but you know, corporate overlords.

Watch the play and initially thought it was a terrible injury. I heard from Joe Buck that he was getting CPR and it was getting serious. Thoughts & prayers for Damar, but what the NFL did shouldn't happen. The long delay is not the issue, but when Joe said teams have 5 minutes to warmup after that, that tells me a lot about the NFL. It's a great game to watch and gather with friends, but it's a drug we can't stop. Is this the turning point? I doubt it

Did you watch the ball drop or the Ohio State kicker or both?

I used to watch the New Years Eve shows, but the music industry being homogenous plus I’m still pissed at how CNN and Anderson Cooper treated Kathy Griffin, it’s not the same.

Everything Everywhere At Once. It was a bit confusing in the first 10 minutes, but when you know what's going on, it is a joyride of emotion. The "multiverse" is effective for this plot and comes nicely together in the end. I was surprise how light it is and it wasn't heavy-handed especially the topics they tackle. It's on Paramount+ with Showtime. I recommend it.

End of the year must be the toughest. Pele, Barbara Walters, Don West, and now Pope Emeritus Benedict all passed away in the past few days

There are a lot of bowl games. Besides the New Years Six, watch the Duke’s Mayo Bowl just for which coach gets dumped on mayo.
