Fingers crossed I get the full sized articulated replica skeleton I just asked Santa for. It would be such a practical gift for an artist into bones, and I could dress him up and slow dance with him.

Oh, darn. Getting to this point means it's time to experiment with glow paint again. Something best done at night. I have several pages to experiment with, on different papers. It's 1:25 am. Guess it's time to munch on chocolate covered espresso beans until dawn under the blacklight again :). This was supposed to be squares of textures, but that's boring. So my texture gallery will be botanicals from the Elysian fields.

Also found nostalgic art supplies. Check out the corrosion on the gold and copper crayons. Anyway, those are discontinued colors in the little box. The pencils were discontinued, then re-continued in a slightly different color. They were my fav colors as a teen, so I had to save the original.

Still digging in storage, found where I drew word art inspired by The Raven as part of a writing exercise, I kept my notebook near as I sketched. I can't remember what I wrote with it. Drawn while living near where Poe lived, wallowed in the vibe. Also, my skulls have def improved, lol.

🎶🎶
Hello darkness my old friend
My burrito has no beans again
The sour cream is softly seeping
The queso is gently leaking
And upon my new white shirt the greasy stain
Still remains
Without the sound of farting
🎶🎶

If I finish the rest of the lyrics, is there someone with better musical talent willing to record themselves singing it?

For those looking for a ray of sunshine in these dark times:
Alex Jones is bankrupt and bereft of platform for his venom.
And Infowars is now owned by the Daily Onion.

BREAKING:

A Truck hauling toupees has crashed along Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach, FL. Police are now combing the area.

Food for thought in these trying times.

The Paradox of Tolerance

Cleaning out the clutter, which always means visiting Grace when I run across her in storage. I got her as a Christmas present when I was 8, in my first aquarium. She lived to swim, a little ballet, thus her name.

So, I decided the "weekly hashtag" thing won't be super firm on a day of the week, and I'll let critical thinking, well being, and deescalation subjects overlap, 'cause I'm a housewife, that's some pro level shit I was talking about before. Anyway, here's a post with an exorcise, "there's more in this moment", to help with grounding and gratitude.
