Doing a falsification mindset or self Socratic method type thing, help me out. If I believe that extreme individualism, not in expression but as a society Ayn Rand style, leads to heavy compartmentalization that requires constant effort and rationalization to maintain, that would imply that selflessness was less exhausting and more emotionally satisfying. It feels that way to me. How could I prove myself wrong?

Thought for a bit this morning about how I would respond to Ayn Rand type claims that altruism goes against human nature, that it is only the rules of a tyrannical society trying to force us to behave training us to be good to others. Didn't take too long before I remembered altruism releases dopamine, demonstrating it comes from evolution not social pressure. Will be near someone soon that I want some responses in my pocket, this sound good to y'all?

So, Romeo no longer escapes (as often) due to massive layers of old lumber and stones stacked into a "fence", but the stinker has figured out I don't see him in the dark very well (as he is a watermellon sized soot sprite). Now he thinks the funniest trick in the world is to stand very still until once again, I am yelling out, "Where for art thou, you fart?" Then he will get zoomies.

I've been sketching loosely and then putting ink over it so that I could lift out kind of clunky linework, given that I don't have equipment and could only print on Redbubble stuff. I just lightened this to redo in another pencil though, with soft shadows. I think I might be able to get detail on a pillow-case like cloth, put this on a messenger bag maybe. Anyway, off to go draw the exact same thing I just drew.
