It's May, so I'm a little frustrated that my garden seems to be taking it's sweet time waking up, but it's happening. This pot has made me happy, I lost the last adult D. filliformis last year (the long leafed sundew), good to see its babies. The tiny clump of green moss is a bit from a handful I grabbed at Walden Pond, I put samples in different places to see where it could grow. It's doing best in this pot.

Folks are inundated, and our scope of awareness diminishes as a result. Neighbors are hurting, as its ever been. Many are just less able to hear it, they've got their own cries of anguish to tend to.
We will find our lost equity and peace when we uplift eachother, not just tending to our own needs.
My take of course.
Today at 11:58 am. I haven't identified this butterfly yet, but I will. 😎 It seems to be enjoying my bee balm. #butterfly #photography

Green Sweat bee. Seems like it should have been given a prettier name. Native bees like these might not give honey, but they are better pollinators. They do not nectar rob, they are more suited to pollinate many plants honey bees can't. Native to where? You. You want to save the bees native to your area, or we will only have wind pollinated corn to eat. That's what these bees give us, not honey, but food.

Nature, science, and art are super cool. Terribly sorry for the stuff that doesn't fit.
