My Sea Monkeys on Mars kit comes Friday, and I am stupidly excited about it for a 46 year old woman. Oh, wait. I mean my kid's sea monkeys.

I feel so smug. My daughter hates handwriting practice, so we used a craft kit to create some pompom stick puppets, and used them to write a story, and I threw it together with some sloppy vector graphics of her puppets and a font made for this kind of stuff, now she is THRILLED with her little practice booklet (about 10 pages).

Oh no I have 3 Pomeranians and I love quiet and it is so loud, and my youngest child runs from one end of the house to another to clear her head, and when my man sent me a message of another tiny fluffy dog saying "this baby needs a home" I actually responded with "okay".
Tornado watch on Jan 2 is the earliest I have noticed, living most of my life in Tornado Alley. I admit, there were springs I was not in town. But, this is way earlier than expected. And I still remember a recent Christmas with thundersnow. I'm calling the #climatechange hotline and asking for normal winters back.
