Awesome, getting ready for my first job interview in 22 years and I just figured out all I have is a worn out pair of sneakers with pink laces and clogs that are falling apart, and my only makeup is eyeliner and lip gloss. Well, at least it's for assembly work, they probably won't care.

Happy All Hallows Eve Eve. In honor of tomorrow's spooky fest, I present to you a spooky feast, which also doubles as a guide to cooking for your pets. I made it for Valentine's Day, but it seems appropriate to share now.

Thinking over the plants I want to grow for my worms to eat for a fat, healthy frog and better compost, realized it's starting to look a lot like a list for my eventual goal of an indoor salad bar. Dandelion, yarrow, sorrel, lamb's quarters, and plantain are all things I've foraged, I don't know how good wild violet leaves are for the soil but I know they are a good "wild" food to have in a pot, so I have those too. All I need is more lights and I can plant these micro tomato and mizuna seeds.

Hey, @peeppeepcircus I was just wondering what else I could grow as a houseplant to feed my worms, nutrient acculumator type plants. I can't find my copy of Gaia's Garden and I realized you might be aware of something that has a stunted enough growth pattern for a pot. I grow pink dandelion, yarrow, alfalfa, and might dig up some plantain and maybe pinch the blooms from some lamb's quarters and see what happens.

One of the greatest rewards for watching international shows dubbed in English is the ability to hear lovely new phrases such as, "Mother fuckin' prick tits."

An apple is innocence, succulence, temptation, seduction. It is battered, it is discarded by the capitalist machine, harmed, abandoned, beautiful, stolen.

I would like to show off my apple. It is wax, and the color of the inner "flesh" makes it look exactly like an apple that fell from the display and bounced around on the market floor, to be never purchased and discarded. I found it when we were staying in my partner's boss's extra mansion that he was renovating. It was abandoned in a closet. I stole it. I love it for the layers of metaphor in it's history.

I just saw this "my home is magic" commercial where this little girl was bragging about her Alexa run home where the lights all turn on by themselves every morning and spills are automatically vacuumed and stuff, and all I could think of was "There Will Come Soft Rains" by Ray Bradbury. Scariest Halloween commercial I've ever seen.
