@BenA Reminds me of the frustration of certain occult circles. There's a huge misogynistic belief that women don't even have the capability to "do magic", because only men contain the spark of life. Reeks of jealousy about the whole womb thing, if they want the childbirth pains so badly they can do that new shock machine thingy.

They did it. They called it "discomfort". As if women haven't been laughing at docs who call labor that for decades.

@nl37tgt @th3j35t3r I'm not concerned about number of people who support him, I'm convinced it's a minority. I'm concerned about gerrymandering and whether he'll win the electoral while losing the popular again.

@AskTheDevil When I self publish this little eBook thing I'm working on, I shall be doing my part with the phrase, "The position of the card within the reading provides constraints such as if the card refers to a person, period of time, skill set, etm."

Ultimately, it will be the smallest of contributions to the literary world, but it will be done.

@LnzyHou @AskTheDevil Thank you. One benefit of a life of chaos is many wild adventures to fuel stories, lol.

@LnzyHou @AskTheDevil The protest was a march that never happened, we gathered in a warehouse tripping on acid, hippies with ankle bells an scarves dancing to drums. Police stormed in, everything stopped, then the one sober dude pulled out a guitar and sang, "Hey, now what's that sound" and we all picked it up. Somme cops danced along with a little while other cops glared at them, and our fearless leader talked to the mayor and chief of police, high as a fucking kite. Good times.

@LnzyHou @AskTheDevil When I was in New Orleans, police could arrest for anything under Napoleonic Law. I knew kids who when to jail over things like "assault on a cheeseburger" (taking off the pickles) and "impersonating an airplane", all kinds of stupid shit. Then they keep them until whatever festival or parade ends (there's something going on there all year long) and make them clean up the puke, then release them. We protested, there was a thing with the mayor, not sure if changes happened.

@AskTheDevil We can spend infinity dollars on housing them in prisons, but no dollars housing them in houses.

@sfleetucker Ive done that! In a CITY, not on a beach! Sidewalk ended and construction began. It had rained recently, but the ground was firm. I stepped onto a patch of construction sand, fell in to my hip.

If Trump really has a list of "private sector entities" that he considers to be "woke", I would like him to uphold his threat to release the list so I can support those businesses.

Me: "My retirement plan is to die protecting my students from an active shooter."

Everyone who hears this and is not a monster: "That's really sad and grim."

SCOTUS: "Great idea, proud American! Let us assist with your retirement plan!"

@Lucky188 @ExecutiveFunction404 Yes, it depends on who fulfills it and if it has a nutrition label. If it doesn't scan at the register and it has a nutrition label in a store, you can challenge it anyway. A manager can force it through or something, I don't recall the details. As for plants not on Amazon, it's the same thing, depends on if the seller is equipped to do EBT, so not at garden stores.

This kitten is never going to learn to let me focus on my art if I keep putting down my pencils to play with him while he's trying to mind his own business.

@Lucky188 @ExecutiveFunction404 Yup. I just posted an article that mentioned you can buy live herbs in the produce isle with them and root them as well. I was on food stamps when they started doing that, but my garden was already full of free plants. You can even buy the seeds and live plants with foodstamps on Amazon. Prime is half price for food stamp people, so free shipping for people in food desserts. One of the reasons I don't consider Amazon to be fully evil.

Wrote about a free garden I had back when I couldn't afford soil or tools, when I left that garden was fertile enough that the next person just pulled my dandelions and plopped a plant in the middle of my clover.

@LnzyHou @corlin My roomate used to complain at how quickly I had managed to lose a bunch of weight after I 'd moved in, and we were eating the same diet. I kept telling her to give me her car, I'd give her my bike, problem solved. I had to be duly motivated to work that hard though, that was 14 miles every work day.
