Caught her cheating. Again. Someone please give me some advice
@MidnightRider my wife, yes
@tiaugn It's not going to change if it's occurred in multiples. You can cause her to create better subterfuge or slip out the back Jack.
@tiaugn Caught who cheating?
@HawkHorton my wife
@tiaugn Sorry you are dealing with this. Cheating, for me, even once, is a deal breaker. Once it happens, you end up trying to chase something that no longer exists or maybe never existed. IMHO.
@tiaugn sorry, mate.
Oh, man. So sorry. My 1st & 2nd exes both repeatedly cheated on me. It hurts.
I like the other responses here when they suggest you walk away. Don't get into fights about it. You will need to talk to someone because it does take a huge chunk of your confidence, making you feel it's you - maybe you are not worthy of someone who honors commitments. I didn't have the money for counseling, but found all I needed in Louise Hay's 'You Can Heal Your Life'. Took some time, but it did.
Deal breaker for me. Once a cheater, always a cheater in my experience. Please get counseling whether you stay or leave.
@tiaugn Start packing. If its happened twice it will absolutely happen again. Its cold but it sounds like you're the only one that's still in the marriage.
I'm so sorry. I've been there and it's awful. Unfortunately, it's not going to improve.
Get an attorney, follow their advice.
Get a counselor, follow their advice.
Take care of yourself first.
@tiaugn not really advice but I dealt with my 1st wife cheating for 12yrs before I finally left. Have been with my 2nd for 20. Even though you might feel devastated it might be time to move on and find Mrs. Right instead on Mrs. Right now.
I'm sorry, blue. What does your heart tell you? Trust your instincts.
@BarelyAwake my heart tells me this is a broken person trying to fill a void they created themselves. But my heart is also breaking, and I’m tired of the pain
@tiaugn @BarelyAwake You have a right to take care of yourself, even if it causes the other person pain. Since she doesn’t seem to have a problem doing something that was sure to cause you pain I’d say you’re the only one looking out for you anyway so protect yourself.
Don’t use the excuse that she didn’t want you to find out (thus hurting you), it’s pretty much a given that secrets will always come out. Take care of yourself, don’t allow bitterness to overwhelm you, just move on.
@tiaugn Kind of thin on facts, your wife? Your lover? You have two choices. Accept the behavior as part of the complexity of who she is or politely without vitriol head for the exit.
