@sanau I'm just now finally starting to catch up. Re-watching Spyfall, and I missed everything after due to covid upending the world... I also really loved Capaldi and thought his last season was Moffatt's best series. I think just having The Doctor not be so "tortured" and brooding had a lot to do with my enjoyment of it all.
My fave (of the 2005± era) is Eccelston, so I think that frames a lot of my bias.
@sanau I feel I'm in the minority in not enjoying the Moffatt era so much. I love Smith as the Doctor, but the writing for most of that run was just bad. Far too much "feels" with not enough thought... Also, Moffatt tended to blow his wad early in a season only to give a "huge reveal" at the end that we already saw coming. Some of his final Capaldi episodes though reminded me how good of a singular episode writer he was. Just not a great showrunner.
@redsheri1 He's definitely entertaining! It's always an adventure, for sure.
@redsheri1 Lol he actually face planted down the side and tried to get under it all immediately after that pic was taken! Then he pooped on the floor, walked in it, and made a b-line for under the bed, only getting distracted for a moment by his own reflection in the closet door mirror, to attack himself, thinking he was another male turtle!
@northernbassist And we have a bag of coconut fiber substrate as well! He didn't find that yet though. It's habitat refreshing time in the next day or so!
@CelluloidBlonde I fell off watching in early 2020 (obvious life changes, pandemic and all, got sidetracked by comfort viewing other things) but I just recently began to work towards catching up. Figure I have plenty of time until late 2023...
@CelluloidBlonde For a 60th anniversary set of 3 specials coming later next year.
@Beerdini GF and Frisky Dingo were my two other options I debated!
@kel Yep... I learned a long, long time ago that there's a certain demographic (and commonly in one generational age group) that only cares about a visually appealing and "friendly" environment, and likely doesn't even know what a TOS is, nor care, because "this is cute, I'm gonna like it here!"
@kel They're the kind of crowd that just clamors for anything that isn't Musk-owned or full of MAGA... I doubt they care or are aware of the TOS. Just that it's not a hotbed of alt-right drivel. Not that I can blame them for that...
@kel It also looks/feels far more like Facebook than Twitter, and there seems to be far less variety of what people are posting about there. That part may change, but it's practically the liberal leaning Parler at the moment from what I can tell.
It's jam tomorrow, shit today. #CoSoMusic

@grapho I wish the media would stop calling it his home. It's his golf resort.
@duglop You in Chicago too, or is this a widespread anomaly?
