Let's just preemptively assume the Supreme Court will nullify its own existence by declarifying absolute presidential immunity....... Can we all just admit what I've been saying for years, that the United States of America is essentially null and void. It no longer exists. It's running on fumes at this point.... A failed experiment.

Last Friday, I resumed work on my second book (of a planned trilogy) and began my "chapter a week" goal: how I was able to compete the first book. It felt good to write again, and tomorrow, I hope to continue that vibe.

Also, for any fans of Douglas Adams, John Swartzwelder, Futurama, or Police Squad, here's book 1: (it's cheap, cuz I wrote it for me)

@Eulimnadian Everyone has their own opinion on which version of Ten they prefer, especially having grown up with it... but I'm a music production nerd. There's SO much lost in the original that I never even knew was there, and Brendan O'Brien mixed most of their other albums (and Soundgarten, I belive?) while the band was never happy with the original mix (record label deciding who produced it)... I have a love for the new mix for many reasons.

It's worth a listen, either way.

@Eulimnadian No Code, Yield, and Binaural is (in my opinion) the strongest run of 3 albums they have. Nobody can convince me that Bugs or Heyfoxymophandle top anything off those albums lol

I've been obsessing over the O'Brien mix of Ten. Especially with headphones... There's just so much in Jeremy alone that is lost in the original layers of reverb. The comparisons of Ten should be taught as an example of what a good producer can do.

People who die on the hill of "Ten, Vs, and Vitalogy were Pearl Jam's only good albums" confuse me. I can only imagine these are the middle aged men who still try to look and dress the way they did in 94 and hit on teenagers.

I think the biggest flaw in the movie Jason Bourne is using a laptop connected to the internet to look at a secret stolen flash drive of classified documents... Anyone with a brain would know to use a clean, disconnected Linux system with networking built out for that. Bourne of all people would know better.

I intend to write a movie called "The Nightmare Before Elm Street" ... It's going to be a Valentine's Day movie. Full rom com.

I saw someone refer to X as "Ten" and I think everyone should start doing that, simply to undercut Mask's obsession with the letter X.

@annamuneca Semi-related, I've always wanted either a Jim Varney biopic or an Ernest reboot starring DJ Qualls... The only person who could truly do it. Perhaps John Cena playing the older iteration of Varney.

@CharlieKruse_474 I'm watching SpongeBob right now... I'm as much a marine biologist as George Costanza!!

@1stplayertokens I personally just enjoy watching new platforms form, watch as things get added and how long before they do... And then watch to see if they catch on. (Social Behavioral Psychology major... I like to people watch)

I'm not one of those "find me over there!" folks though... Here is where I feel safe... There is where I'll be trying to shill my book and audioplay scripts!

Honestly, I just miss Google+ ... It was like a happier business Tumblr.

I think we can all admit though... That Toxic Gossip Train song is a banger!

@RobinLily Fair. But it's a good way to retort to people who mean it as an insult!
The Albert Hall performance had Beatles, royalty, and all forms of high class, and it's a great show of people showing up to just laugh at someone, realizing there's a real talent, and in the end, very clearly appreciating someone they would gladly have laughed at.... It went from chuckles to standing ovation
Socialogically, it's brilliant.

@RobinLily One of the things that really made sense, re Tiny Tim, was that he was trying to emulate the early 1900s cylinder record sound... When everything was recorded so vocalists had to project to one microphone.... He thought he was replicating what he heard from early radio, as best as he could hear in his head. He thought he was reproducing female voices in his falsetto... It's something so pure yet also so very comical... I kinda love it.

@RobinLily The person who said that probably meant it as an insult, but they also probably only know Tiny Tim as a sorta meme... Dude legit was awesome though!
He'd always been one of my heroes since childhood (in the 80s) but reading a biography recently, I've realized how much there was to him.
I think Michael Cera needs to play him in a biopic!!
