@VelvetDuchess @DavidSalo just have Obama override his declassification by classifying them back up.

@Blue_Skyesr_here No, you're not imagining things. He says it on TikTok all the time! It's his thing!

My music album comparing TFG's (I still don't get the term DFG... Someone want to explain that to me?) election night speech with recordings of Jim Jones got content struck on YouTube... I appealed, stating both that it's a sociological music art piece, but also explaining the intent of it all.
Let's see if YouTube is better at reviewing appeals than the Bird site.

Neither in Iran, nor Saudi Arabia, nor Nigeria, nor the United States, does any religious group, no matter how dominant in the population have the moral right to use force and brutality to impose its "morality" on others. The use of force in itself deprives this "morality" of any true moral character.

@corlin Cool... Great... Good job, DeJoy. Do the military next... Make them profitable, because they're the biggest waste of money, if you ask me.

"You were a real good number two."
"You were a great number one, Hugo."

Christian also appears to Jack off-island, which the smoke monster can NOT do... But Jacob has done, thanks to the Island.

On when Jack asks fake-Locke if the appearances of his father were also him, and he replies "Yes, that was me." ... That was a lie.
Not only is the evidence in Darlton's podcast, interviews, and commentaries, but in the show itself.
Christian appeared to Sun and Lapidus after smokey had taken Locke's form. It was explicitly stated that now that he had taken that form, he could no longer take another's.
He lied to Jack, because that's what he does... It's what Jack wanted/needed to hear.

@netspionage Edgerunners got recommended to me, and I was hoping it was good. I'm a huge fan of Blade Runner, Shadowrun, and the OG Cyberpunk RPG...
I can also recommend the Blade Runner anime on HBO Max if you're a fan of BR stuff. It's good.

@Sarah8907 Far better than mine! I wore the worst pair of pants and t-shirt I own to work today. (Helping paint a wall... So at least there was a reason for it!)

@etakeh I don't trust people to know the difference either, but maybe that means the people who do should use that as a way to direct the conversation instead of media outlets and people immediately making it "Biden wants us to die! Vote Republican"

@JoyfullyDazed My older sister has a thyroid issue that leaves her immunocompromised... Our mother is a MAGA freak, and I haven't spoken to her (our mother) in years...... I'm all for people still treating covid as seriously as it is, but I do feel there needs to be a nationwide statement over pandemic vs endemic, and that it's here to stay... Sadly, money politics won't opt for that ... Because money over everything....

@JoyfullyDazed As long as being upset/annoyed/etc over politics being politics doesn't keep y'all from keeping fascist nationalists from winning elections...
I'm all for questioning and holding politicians to task... As long as it doesn't allow truly authoritarianist fascists into power, simply due to our dissolutions and cynicism of the centrist "neo-liberal" politicians.

That's not to say it's not harmful, dangerous, or to be taken lightly... But endemic means that it's something we're stuck with, but in a very different way than we were in a pandemic state.

People getting mad at Biden for saying the pandemic is done, yet he's not exactly wrong. Covid very quickly entering the endemic state would mean the pandemic is over, but covid is still here. Endemic means it's here to STAY... We live with it, it follows predictable patterns, and we get a (possibly) yearly shot, that adjusts and adapts as the virus evolves... Endemic vs pandemic, because we can box it in as it evolves, and it's no longer running rampant outside a predictable model... Endemic.

FUN FACT: The Man in Black is named, but only in the script. The use of his name in the aired show was removed to create a bit more ambiguity, but he does have a name. That name is Samuel.
They named him Samuel so people would know that it wasn't Esau.

@pettybooshwah Ever since they rebuilt Edge from the ground up, based on chromium engine, it's been my main browser. Chrome became the new IE (bloated, slow, and everything demands it), and Edge became the new Chrome (light, sleek, and fast)... They also have it for Linux.
I never thought I'd see MS and Linux play nice together, but they are... And all in the face of Google becoming what people hated Microsoft for.
Go figure!

"I'm about to ring around this man's rosie." - A video gamer I'm currently watching. (Also, from Drawfee)

@LiberalLibrarian @sentientdessert Someone in an anarchist email mailing list I was in (decades ago, when those were a thing) said something to the effect of "Sometimes, voting IS a form of antifascist action." and that was something that really opened my eyes in terms of reason and practicality in my beliefs.
And what that person said has never rung as true in my lifetime than it does lately.
The act of voting simply to keep fascism and fascists from power is antifascist action.

@LiberalLibrarian @sentientdessert That sounds like my kind of book! I need to get that one, for sure!
