Fans of the non-surreal parts of Twin Peaks as well as Breaking Bad, I'd recommend checking out Tin Star on Amazon Prime. 3 seasons, and it's very good.... Also, if you enjoyed Longmire or Justified.

@kenc313 I've had them. They taste like basic gummies, like the bread part of the Krabby Patties gummies... I felt it might have at least been worth it to at least TRY to make them taste like cheese or something. Utterly pointless, and bland....

@kenc313 This was me playing Tetris 99. Hadn't played in decades, suddenly playing against ~100 people... Ended in second place. It was a good feeling knowing I still had it!

@Jason_Richard Prescriptions fuck up your liver just as much... I just have to make sure for myself (and the wife) that I don't go too much or that I'm ever "all day drinking"... I allot myself my time, and stick to it.
It's also helpful that I'm a lovely dovey drinker, and not violent... An overdrinking night for me is texting my friends to remind them how much I love them. Then I feel stupid the next day.

@ShowDemKitties Thanks! I'll go in with that in mind. After all, I DESPISED The Expanse based on the first 2 episodes, went back and by episode 4, I loved it. Now it's my fave space sci-fi show.

People who have watched Yellowstone... I've watched half of the first episode, and I have an honest question. Does anything actually happen in that show?!
I turned it off because I was very bored. Does something happen that would hook me if I continued? Or is the whole thing just land dispute stuff, and it's essentially just Dallas?
Not sure if I should give it another go...

@Jason_Richard Every so often, I give myself a few weeks where I only drink tea and sparkling water (cutting caffeine to a minimum as well) just to make sure I only think "I wish I could sleep" etc, and not "I wish I had a drink"... I guess it's my own sense of shame that drives that, so I just use the shame as a tool to keep myself in check.

@Jason_Richard PTSD from a TBI and stroke here. I have a nightcap each night because nothing else stops the sleep paralysis and nightmares so far... I tend to overshare after tossing back a bit, too.

@dauphin87 I've been hooked on Tin Star on Amazon Prime. Tim Roth and Christina Hendricks. Started it on a whim (because Tim Roth) and it's fantastic.
