1/2: I find it a) typical and b) comical that there are Democrats, Progressives, and other such white men who are giving the "le sigh" treatment to White Dudes for Harris. Why are they doing it?

They're saying it's nothing but performative, and some are sighing at things being said like, "Kamala's our girl!" and expressing happiness and excitement about her candidacy.

Again, it isn't GOP/alt-white dudes. It's bona fide Lefty dudes of varying ages.

Buncha headasses.

You know what I think?

Today, word came out that William Calley died back on April 28.

The author of the single most notorious mass murder in the Vietnam War, we can’t look at Calley without considering the rotten awful system that made him. He was a genuinely horrible soldier who did an unspeakable thing. But the only thing surprising about it is that it wasn’t more common. And that’s on a chain of command that had given soldiers license to commit unspeakable atrocities in Vietnam.

: Lucked out at the supermercado. I went by to pick up some more of my favorite snack bars (Kodiak protein granola) and some coffee creamer, and color me all surprisedlike... loads of stuff I regularly purchase for noms was on big sale. I spent $124 and saved $68.

Rarely do a gaggle of my weeklies go on sale at the same time, and so I count it as a sizable win.

, and also .

This is the last time that I'm going to say this here.

15.3 million Jews on the planet.
Over 7 million Jews live in Israel.

Less than 100,000 Jews are anti-Zionist. Most of them so infamous that we know their names. We know who the Communists are. We know who the Holocaust deniers are.

So...

"Zionists are no more than a sadistic, ultra right wing death cult," Is hatred of over 15 million Jews.

That quote is PARAPHRASING CHAPTER 11 OF MEIN KAMPF.

And it was said here. Some cheered it.

: I'm glad to see the funding jump since the other day. We're at 55.48%. That's good stuff.

: Mark Kelly is absolutely no slouch, not by any stretch of the imagination. He'd be a marvelous VP. That said, I know there'd be substantially more static from the Right and some of the Left over it, but looking forward, I believe Pete would be stellar. Not only that, Pete will be 50 in eight years. Mark Kelly will be 70. (Yes, I'm using the traditional algebra of the VP becomes the POTUS candidate after 8yrs. of Veeping.)

I'm knocking Mark at all. I'm just a big stan for Pete.

Hill Dems believe this VP contender would help address Harris’ biggest weakness

'Three such Democrats — Reps. Vicente Gonzalez (D-Texas), Henry Cuellar (D-Texas) and Lou Correa (D-Calif.) — are all publicly pushing for Kelly. Shortly after voting for a bill that denounced Harris’ handling of the border, Cuellar said Kelly was Harris’ best potential pick for a no. 2, saying he “knows the border well.”'

: He said he'll call me if he has trouble again. (He looked up what CompTIA is.)

😄

Living and learning.

: My neighbor is not a jackass. He's just 64. He is a carpenter, can do most electrical work on a house, repairs and restores vintage stereo equipment, can jam repairing cars, but he's not up on computerthings.

Like my mom (79), whenever technical computer talk starts, he zones out. Except printers. Apparently he's good with laser printer repair and getting them to stay on the damn network.

He's just out almost $400.

He came over and told me not long ago what happened and laughed about it.

: I asked a neighbor to let me have a look at his router in re: a problem he was having with home intarwebs, but he said he wanted an expert to check it out.

He did not know what A+, Network+, and Server certs are... or CompTIA. So he paid a dude $129 for a house call *and* paid $225 for a new gateway/wifi-router, and he gave his son (26) the old one because he asked for it.

The older (2017) router just needed the firmware updates it'd never had. So installed it at his girlfriend's house. 😄

: I'll be sending my iWatch back in. I'm back to a FitBit today. It isn't because I hate Apple or capitalists or whatever. It's just the additional cost per month for 5G data for the watch isn't worth it.

I use Bose headphones during the day and ApplePlay in the car, and so I don't need phone or texting on a watch. The other tracking, such as for naps and 🐾, is my jam.

So I'mma save ~$40/mo. and just use mah FitBit.

@TomOdell 'American Conservative' eh? I have two corroborating data points that confirm you're in Reading, UK. One of them is your linkedin profile, which is was registered with the same email address you registered on COSO with.

Weird.

: This Jimminy Glick interview question sounds a lot like it could be a current Fox News question, just seriously and not for comedy.

: How can Trump's forearms at his wrists be larger in circumfrence than his balled-up fists?

Also, check out that frontal lobe dementia forward stoop he's got going there.

: And on that note, it is time for to sleeps.

Stay hydrated, errybody.
