: Mark Kelly is absolutely no slouch, not by any stretch of the imagination. He'd be a marvelous VP. That said, I know there'd be substantially more static from the Right and some of the Left over it, but looking forward, I believe Pete would be stellar. Not only that, Pete will be 50 in eight years. Mark Kelly will be 70. (Yes, I'm using the traditional algebra of the VP becomes the POTUS candidate after 8yrs. of Veeping.)
I'm knocking Mark at all. I'm just a big stan for Pete.

I think looking at the big picture, if Kelly becomes VP his seat will be harder to keep when it comes up in a couple of years. I would love him as VP but have to take that seat into account
