@TheresaVermont I would want to know what the goal is in writing before even considering. Typically the person asking for these weapons has a target or a behavior they can't bend or eliminate and doesn't understand that engineers have ethics as well, starting with do no harm. I was recently asked if Teams had a drop in feature so they could pop in on remote workers. My answer was "Boy I hope not".

I think about this all the time.
I was 18, trained, armed, body armored, & not alone the first time I experienced the working end of an assault rife. Decades later I still dream about it. I wake as afraid as I was that night.
I cant imagine the terror these children experience, & shudder to imagine how this will effect them. That picture of the child on the bus should move everyone but it won't. Empathy is broken, vilified, & weaponized for greed.
