The concentration of wealth is not an accident. It is the result of policy choices pushed for by corporations and the wealthy and enacted by government officials. Many of the folks responsible for these choices are in Davos this week.
Since 1980, taxes for the highest incomes, capital gains, and inheritance have all plummeted in wealthy countries. This has corresponded to a large increase in the share of wealth held by the top 1%.

Ah & my favorite thing is using too many commas in run-on sentences.
Btw might try the chapstick accident on half my family.
Historybook: President John Tyler dies (1862); Actor Cary Grant born (1904); WWI Paris Peace Conference begins (1919); Author Rudyard Kipling dies (1936); Willie O’Ree becomes first Black player in the National Hockey League (1958).

When Hitler put together a group of militants for an attempted coup in Munich in the early 1930s, and they marched and were met by armed police (mostly by accident, no one purposely set an ambush), a skirmish ensued and a few people were shot.
Guess who turned his back and tried to flee immediately but was caught and jailed? Hitler.
His buddy Goering was shot in the thigh and dragged off the street, treated and smuggled to Austria by a Jewish family.
You all know what those two did later.
Most people don't get it, but when politicians talk about not being able to pay for SS it's a myth, a fake red-blue argument to get votes. The government can print as many dollars as it wants. It does that whenever Wall Street and military industrialists ask for it. It could do the same thing for healthcare, college debt and whatnot. They just don't, so that people stay fearful and stressed about losing their jobs. This epic, colossal lie needs to be revealed for what it is, all the time.
