Fun Fact: This movie was originally supposed to be about turkeys, but the MPAA decided that it would have to be rated R for horror, so they made it about chickens instead.

Ackermacker! I heard it in the Scouse accent! ๐Ÿคฃ

I don't *want* to leave coso.
I probably *won't* leave coso.
I *am* giving it very careful consideration and if I come to the conclusion that I *need* to leave coso, I'll do it the very best way I can, by setting a date and sticking to it in order to say proper goodbyes and make outside connections where necessary.

You're probably stuck with me though ๐Ÿคฃ

@ceorl
I have to really carefully consider this.
At this precise moment I feel very unsafe.
I'd have trusted him to the ends of the earth.
Then bang. Out of the blue. All trust gone.
Yes he's blocked now, but who can I trust? With anything?
I've given people here my home address.
My phone number.
I feel violated and frightened.

I do *not* feel safe knowing that there are people here who will screenshot your posts and keep them for *months* just to use them against you at a later date.

Not even slightly safe.

Coso is *not* safe.

I've shared really personal stuff here on the basis that it won't leave this space.

I am not safe here and I never have been.

Later.
Seems I'm not censoring myself enough today.

3. Anna Mary Robertson Moses, or simply

Grandma Moses.

Having grown up in Upstate NY, reproductions of her work are practically everywhere.

Not too shabby for an artist who didn't start painting until she was 78 years young.

Anybody have experience with burner phones? No, I'm not planning anything nefarious ๐Ÿ˜‰
DD & I realized today that when DGS skips school & we turn off all access to every device in the house, he has no way to summon help if he needs it when we are both out. Landline cancelled a few years ago. I suggested a burner phone but DD seems to think the verizon family app is sufficient. I don't think it's working correctly.
Welcome all thoughts!

We're at 71.47% but I KNOW we can get J to 100% before Thanksgiving! Let's go ! We have so much to be grateful for, let's give thanks!

Wife: We never talk anymore.
Me: Every time I say something, I'm wrong.
Wife: That's not true.
Me: The defense rests.

I used to be more creative in my posts during those early days.

In 2019 I finally realized the value of using Hashtags. I didn't catch them all, but scroll down to the end of the STORMTROOPERS hashtag to see a bunch of creative and humorous Stormtrooper posts.

@th3j35t3r was a fan of Stormtroppers so it was all about giving him a laugh while he was creating new features and protecting us.

Iโ€™m thinking back to the days long ago when I was a moderator for a chat room on AOL. We went through a quick training program to cover different scenarios that may violate the TOS. We had shifts so it was only brief periods to be on call. Still, the stress and the badgering and utter disrespect was tough to take for those brief periods.

I canโ€™t imagine what J encounters here on a 24/7 365 days a year. Lands sake. Do consider going PRO if you have the means. ๐Ÿ’œ

It might seem counterintuitive to point them out, but your nearest app store has many reviews of CounterSocial that are unintended endorsements of this haven online.

They've all given us one star.

For a good time and a few laughs, consider downvoting those. While you're there, tell us what you really think about the safest social online.

Hi CoSoNauts just joining us.

We've been celebrating our 7th birthday / anniversary and it's been a busy day. Jester is holding @MovieNights soon - Raiders of the Lost Ark - check his timeline for the link.

I'm running an Auction - see my pinned post for details.

Lots of 'Nauts have donated to the Donorbox to help us reach fully funded for this month. $7 from each CoSoNaut and we'd be there.

And then we can really celebrate.

Inverted Channels near Juventae Chasma

This image shows several long, sinuous features on the plains near Juventae Chasma. These features have been explained as former stream channels now preserved in inverted relief.

Inverted relief occurs when a formerly low-lying area becomes high-standing. For instance, depressions may become filled with lava that is more resistant to erosion.
