This week's #SomethingBeautiful is early. Our local Loblaws has a gorgeous flower section, a really awesome florist and so many 50% castoffs. I couldn't resist.

Pale roses with a hint of greyish purple, purple Stock flowers, and Green Hydrangeas. This one is particularly soft, springlike and pretty.

Here is a detail many people don't pick up on..

Richard Spotted Elk (son of Chief Spotted Elk) wearing moccasins where the soles are fully beaded.. It is not common except for ceremonial purposes. These days many won't wear them except after death. But if they were an important person back in the day, on special occasions they would wear them.

My housing support officer yesterday decided my saucepans needed replacing. I agreed basically because i didn't want to argue. I said i would buy new, her thinking was new start was needed. Well today she turned up with a set of high quality saucepans and frying pan. Made by Antony Worrall Thompson. I was blown away. She said she had them at home. But they were boxed and looks brand new. I offered to pay her biut she refused. Sich an awesome gift it blew me away.
