I've seen them all before; each has a performance that's been calling to me lately. Which one should I rewatch this week?
@MLClark what dreams may come, This one leaves me a sobbing mess every time I see it. Robin did such an amazing job in that film And his co-stars did a great job too. The story is rich and the effects are pretty amazing too. It wows me every time I see it.
That film was right on the cusp of an era of people trying to go too hard too fast on modern visual effects, but the team did a wonderful job in not letting beautiful staging overwhelm the core performance. 👌

😅 Thank you, Stuey! My hero!
@MLClark blame me for What Dreams May Come.
@MLClark You have a brave soul...
@MLClark so glad Fisher King won, it's such a glorious, beautiful and emotional film. One of the best.
I'm glad, too, because What Dreams May Come meant a lot to someone dear to me, and I don't think I could've watched it again without being sad on multiple fronts.
The Fisher King, though - that's a piece I can sit with all on my own, without any personal distractions from the fullness of the emotional work it's doing.
Looking forward to tomorrow night's viewing very much. Thanks for your help with it, Booga!
@MLClark Enjoy, I think Robin Williams is one of the most underrated actors ever. He has been in a few of my most favorite films.
The Fisher King
Good Morning Vietnam
Good Will Hunting
Dead Poets Society
Bicentennial Man
being just a few.
🧐 Shhhhhaving cream, if this ends up being a double feature I am blaming all of you for the many tears that will be spilled.
