I just wanna say…
Bandcamp is holding annual Juneteenth fundraiser today where they donate 100% of their share of sales to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. The LDF has a long history of effectively enacting change through litigation, advocacy, and public education, and they are doing this annually in recognition of the fact that real progress towards racial equity requires a sustained, ongoing commitment.

There was a considerable apple industry in that region, so no surprise that there are lots of great trees. cool.
If you are ever interested to know the parentage of your trees, there is DNA testing available now. If they are seedlings, the test may be able to tell you the variety of the parent trees. If they are old trees that were purposely planted, the test may be able to give you a definitive answer on the particular variety. The reference database is getting large.

If they are not in any particular arrangement that would suggest a purposeful orchard, then they are probably seedlings. Regardless, if the apples are useful, then they are good. In some ways, seedlings are superior, as they are obviously well suited to the local conditions.
