so...this happened today. Earle read some lyrics, said it was a potential "anthem" and other good stuff. WOW. Here is the relevant Deep Tracks playlist. Thanks to all of you for letting me share ;)

here is how it shook out. 😎 honored to be adjacent to you know who!

So, this playlist just happened on Deep Tracks. A moment of bliss for me. Truly humbled to share airtime adjacent to my favorite songwriter. May he rest in peace.

Gotta share.
this is a clip from today's radio show including Earle's comments about my song.

Just finished redoing the first electric guitar I ever owned. 1964 Epiphone Olympic. It's been thru my amateur luthier learning curve and now it's back - and better. Sounds amazing with new Lollar Charlie Christian pu and 1950s style tone wiring.

2/2
I was attracted to this guitar because of the unusual wood on the back and sides. It’s curly English Oak. The top is spruce and has a really great patina.
The guitar sounds really good and now plays well. I’m still very amateurish in my guitar restoration work, but learning with each project. Fun!

Just “finished” my latest guitar restoration project (still a bit of cosmetic work to do.) This guitar was probably built by Lyon and Healy circa 1920 for the Samuel Osborne Company, which had a showroom in the Masonic Temple Building in downtown Chicago.
When I got it, it needed crack repair, tuner replacement, neck reset, bridge work and new saddle. 1/2

Just finished restoration on this 1930s Harmony built Supertone decal guitar. It was in pieces when I got it. Will post short vid so you can hear it too.

I've been scanning in old photos. This is from a promo photo session in 1978.
I have not changed ;-)

Here is something that looks pretty cool. It’s called a “bat” guitar. A Gretsch modified by Seattle luthier John Parsons, I think.
