@VelvetDuchess Don't think you are missing anything. What seems unusual to me is that there isn't that much damage to the car itself. Seems odd the "accident", if that's what it was, resulted in a fatality. Whole thing just seems weird. Maybe it is just me and my sleep-deprived migraine brain. 🤔

Not enough to know if he had a cardiac arrest driving or if he was shot at by Secret Service.

The fact that he was declared dead on site and wasn’t transported to the hospital would tend to make me think massive head injuries.

The whole front end of the car is destroyed. Practically torn off. You can see it clearly at 1:35-2:11. (The body is shown there, too, on the ground, but it is covered, so there's no visible gore.)

It looks like the emergency barrier came up and slammed into the car.

I'm thinking that if someone is coming at the WH gate at a high rate of speed, the driver will be full of bullets before the impact. It could have been a car bomb.
