HERE IS THE SADNESS...

Michelle O had to reprise this role for those US citizens who truly do not know the impact they have on their kids and what they model for them to follow as adults.

"Take a moment today to celebrate Roberto Clemente (1934-1972), great Puerto Rican, great American and great Pennsylvanian:"
~ Michael Beschloss

Now hear this.

A Trump victory will NOT be "OK", in any. sense of that term.

Former Ohio Gov (R). John Kasich is an idiot, along with everyone else who insists we'll be ok, regardless of the election outcome.

That is all.

Ok Washington sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

But I gotta hand it to you. It was sure fun to watch. Washington's football team hasn't been this good and fun to watch in 20 years.

Hail (Mary) to the Commanders!

If we lose our Democracy & become an autocracy there is no need for the Washington Post or the LATimes. What, do they think that THEY will be the voice of Trump? 😂 they’ll be shut down.

Think about it.

At least The NY Times supports our Democracy…finally.

Too little too late? 🤷‍♂️

Also, the flashback scenes of Afghanistan are stunning. Depending on which web link you follow they were actually filmed in California, Alabama, or England. (go figure??)

I just finished season 2 of the FX thriller "The Old Man". I was mesmerized every minute. This is a truly masterful tale of spy craft, international intrigue, action, and mystery.

But what really sets it apart are the fabulous characters and their fascinating relationships. Jeff Bridges, John Lithgow and Amy Brenneman are all fantastic. But Alia Shawkat gives a truly award worthy performance as a woman with 3 separate lives.

Don't miss it.

Capitulated or they lean towards Trump?

All I know is Democracy dies when there is no resistance to the fascists.

Maybe VOTE this election.

The Washington Post made a stunningly hypocritical and ignorant decision not to indorse a Presidential candidate in the coming election. In the words of the publisher and CEO, William Lewis:

". . . the Post has always stood for and what we hope for in a leader: character and courage in service to the American ethic, veneration for the rule of law, and respect for human freedom in all its aspects."

Of course it's obvious that only one candidate meets these criteria. 😠

I have figured out why I just sweep my inbox of all political emails every morning, barely glancing at the subject lines. I'm completely saturated. I can't feel any more outraged. I can't be any more apprehensive about the outcome of the election, and I certainly can't send more money.

Rev Warnock: "We already know who Donald Trump is, that's not what this election is about, it's about who are we."
