I’ve had two shocking events in the past 24hrs that involved people from my past.

I was grocery shopping when I went down an aisle, a woman turned and looked at me and I froze. She looked just like my ex’s wife. From her face, scowl, Goth hair and attire. They now live near Monterey, CA & I can’t think of any reason she’d be in NM.

Last night I saw an email, 2 days old, from a male college friend who I haven’t talked w/ since early 2010s. He found me at one of my photo retail sites.

We’ve got a light dusting down here. Forecast has changed, again, and now shows no snow falling past 11 and then a smidge around 8. I sprinkled ice melt anyway cause my neighbor walks her pups around 4 or 5 in the morning cause she starts work at 6.

But once I find our thread in my notifications, mine and there’s, they show on my notifications column, not in my DM column.

In the past week when I go to add a new reply to a previous DM that I had started with someone, (actually 3 separate people), the thread has disappeared. The only way I can find it is to scroll thru all of my notifications to find the convo I was having with the person.

I know that if a person mutes/blocks/ unfollows then their message(s) will be gone but that’s not what is happening here.

I need wiper blades too but the last time I needed them, for my previous car, the cost made me gasp. I don’t even want to guess what the prices are now. 😣 Meanwhile, every time I have to use them the squeaking noise is enough to wake the dead.
