If I make a one-time donation to a charity, and then they proceed to spend the equivalent of that amount mailing me solicitations for more money, and then they sell my address to similar charities who also spend money mailing me, I’m not inclined to think that any of my money helps the cause I originally donated to.
@EileenKCarpenter this happened to me when I donated to the charity for the recovery/rebuilding the Notre-Dame Cathedral. I still get letters and cards from them.
@scottyorange This one was to deliver supplies to families snowed in by an unusual blizzard on an Indian reservation, so it was a one time donation to a one time need being met by an agency that normally addresses other needs — not the sort of thing where you could shop for a better charity.
CounterSocial is the first Social Network Platform to take a zero-tolerance stance to hostile nations, bot accounts and trolls who are weaponizing OUR social media platforms and freedoms to engage in influence operations against us. And we're here to counter it.
