Rest in peace, brave defender. After this AFU soldier was captured by Russian forces he refused to obey orders. Instead he responded with his final words: 'Slava Ukraini', before he was brutally executed.

Russia once again shows how inhumanely it behaves, and how far it is from the civilized world.
@JohnnyGenX
teachers (you) still diverse better pay for the work they already do. and social programs also need better funding, so that good parents can spend more time with their kids, and bad parents become better through learning and responsibility (i know, sounds idealistic)
As a taxpayer, I really don't want to choose, I still want my money to go to teacher's salary. cause you already diverse it
@corlin John is great. his books are hard to put down.
@beer

Just finished Outliers: The Story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell. I did not expect I'd love it so much. The thing a contemplating reader needs to know - the title is ironic. The book is NOT about "famous geniuses" or "admiration of unusually successful people". If anything, it's the opposite. Highly recommend for anyone who likes do dig deep into the fabric of the society.
@Clavius_42
I should never be allowed near bookstores unsupervised and with money π
@Xponent
well, if only I had a PhD in biology and data science... oh wait, I do!
jumping to conclusions about me and then jumping to compare (something?) to qanon is really a bunch of red flags.
you don't know me but you feel entitled to judge me. good luck.
nothing new here. a daily reminder: exercise!
some good news. celebrating small victories matters imo

this is one of explanations that I agree with. lack of transparency here, tho, paints them in much more sinister way. because this is not their internal matter, we are also influenced by their mistake. and we don't see how this mistake is accounted for.
whatever the origin, I have zero confidence that they will implement any changes reducing the chances of this happening again.
@Xponent
did you read what *I* said?
@LSWellesley I don't believe a single word they say π€¬ and these people want to rule the world. nfw
even if it's not lab leak, the resistance China puts up against investigation of the origin is so suspicious that I can't drop thinking about the matter. There is definitely something bad happened that they don't what the world to know about.
The Russian-controlled Transnistrian region of #Moldova announced 3-month military exercises to begin on March 1.
Right now #Russia is trying to stage anti-government protests in Moldova by flying in and bussing in Russian citizens posing as Moldovan protesters in an attempt to install a pro-Russian puppet regime.
to be clear. I did have a gov owned device in the past - a laptop. it was my working laptop. I always tried to avoid using ANY non-job related web-sites. taking into account that I'm not on social media (joined CoSo several months ago), that wasn't hard. for personal use I have my phone and my own laptop.
the only question I have is - why was it allowed?
@jsto never hurts to re-read! β€οΈ
