We went to yard Yahtzee game night w friendsast night. RV Park, hills, tree, ponds, idyllic setting, fire w flame colorants, food, playing w the dogs, laughter, and risque jokes. Eyeball Saga, cont'd: Talked to the insurance company. They said the medical records that the glaucoma specialist sent in with the auth request for the May 23 surgery, contradicted med records they had, and that is why they denied the surgery. They want my doc to call their doc to clarify the contradiction. My doc being the specialist who said on May 7 that changes for the worse were occurring and I needed surgery ASAP.

PRN anxiety meds in the morning: ✅
Coffee taken down to half-caff: ✅
Web form to file complaint w state insurance commission: ✅
Legal advice: ✅ (no case rn)
Strategy to preserve what vision I have in left eye: ❓

When insurance denied the surgery my glaucoma doc wanted to do, we agreed that he would do a surgery that was on the approved list according to insurance. The clinic submitted the approval request too late so there was no decision in time for my May 23 surgery. The insurance company told the clinic today, May 29, that they *denied* the surgery. The one they had been trying to force my doctor to do. I am losing what vision I have left in the left eye and also losing my mind.
