Good morning CoSo!
I want to bring a new #CoSoConfessions item to you. When the late and great #Twin died, @junation and I realized we couldn't live without a #Ragdoll so we did something we had never done before: we found a breeder and put down a deposit on a kitten. We are bringing him home tomorrow. Name's #Smoothie and he will grow up w #Milo . Here is a pic the breeder sent us.

I am not having eye surgery tomorrow - because after my doctor and I agreed on the procedure I would have, his office waited for *eight days* before submitting an authorization request. Now insurance has until 5.30 to issue an authorization. Once we have that, *then* we will schedule. Meanwhile I am slowly going blind in my left eye.

Health updates: one great, one not great.

Great: I had my first surveillance visit w my oncologist and all tissues look great, the exam was normal, I go back in three months.

Not great: I was on my way to the cancer institute when my eye doctor's office called to say that as of Tuesday afternoon, my insurance company hadn't approved my surgery Thursday morning. They hadn't denied it, either. They had done *nothing*. They *may* approve it tomorrow.

Proof of life: I have survived day two of the Ren Faire. Now I am going to do some stretching because the muscle cramps last night were pretty unbearable. Here is today's just-got-home face. I would say I cover it well when I am exhausted beyond measure.

Sunday morning FML mood: I am heading into the second day of Ren Faire double performances. Non-negotiable. Not letting down my circle plus I am the one MCing it. But I am 4 mo out of radiation and it takes 6 to 12 recover from it, it was 90 degrees yesterday, and at night I had such debilitating muscle cramps I couldn't move only scream until @junation brought me Gatorade. Now I am groggy, hands shaking, exhausted, muscles aching. Trying to survive my bad decision I guess.
