I am not having eye surgery tomorrow - because after my doctor and I agreed on the procedure I would have, his office waited for *eight days* before submitting an authorization request. Now insurance has until 5.30 to issue an authorization. Once we have that, *then* we will schedule. Meanwhile I am slowly going blind in my left eye.
