Have to see ortho tomorrow as hinged device is digging into my arm. I can’t figure out removing it. Woke up 3X last night in pain. Wanted to tear it off.
But drove today —woohoo. Two weeks ago yesterday since I fell.
The 100th birthday party has gone from a brunch to a catered dinner in a cousin’s mansion.
Gonna look like a robot but I’ll be there.
At least I have a pretty tie-dyed long dress to cover up my huge leg scabs.

Apparently my healing is underway much to doc’s delight. New equipment took PA & tech to get on. Trying to imagine how I will do it with one arm.

Thanks. Currently in a state of analysis paralysis after difficult night with bionic arm device. Woke me up 3X digging into my arm.
But healing is accelerating. And I am grateful.

Getting ready to see trauma ortho surgeon at 10 AM. If X-rays are solid, they will remove this cast & install hinged device for 8-12 weeks.
Forced myself to do laundry yesterday. Whew. Lots of shaky walking but made it through.
Two weeks from Wed I leave for PA. Must say, it’s pretty daunting at this point.
