@holon42 A "correct" reading of the book is that no matter what happens God ultimately takes care of His own, so don't worry about it. But that's not as entertaining.

@holon42 I told him eclipses happen every 18 months and the world would already be destroyed if that happened at every one. Plus "don't worry about tomorrow because each day has enough trouble of its own." Don't know if it helped any.
i hope so, but superstition is hard to rationalize away.
@holon42 My beliefs are surely ranked as superstition. But if their highest ideal/goal is love, I hope to survive with a condescending pat on the head from people who know better. 😏😉
