Wow, great article- a most candid interview!
"Aznavour shone a spotlight on masculinity and libido, singing about depression, sex, prejudice and rape.
"His hits ranged from the 1970s story of a gay transvestite in What Makes a Man, to the once-banned ballad of muggy, post-coital exhaustion, Après l’Amour, and the controversial You’ve Let Yourself Go – the plea of a man whose wife has grown dowdy and fat (“I gaze at you in sheer despair and see your mother standing there”)."
the geese got tired of waiting for us to rise from our warmth to go out to the Meadow.
Time to get back to the Book.
thanks for helping us move our grief away this am. 4 months on wednesday. seems so long ago and right behind us.

The New Yorker did a nice tribute to Charles Aznavour: The Last and Greatest Troubadour ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Charles Aznavour was a brilliant Singer, writing over 1500 songs in 5 languages.
This beautiful ballad tells the story of the passing of a beloved woman, who family and friends gather to weep, and remember.
We send it out for any one who needs a good cry to elegant #music.

When I'm too old to carry on
light my pipe or write a song
dont stick me in an elder home
lest I die out all alone
prop me up against a tree
cover with leaves and sing to me
drink and dance
til no eye dry
while I rise
fly fly fly
Live a pristine existence
That means in your original purity
We all come into Life harmless and blameless
Remember who you were born to be
There are no boundaries but the ones we make ourselves
No limits to what is achievable
Evolution is true Revolution

a follow up on this thread
arsenic load can be reduced by washing dry rice until water is clear, soaking in 3x the water as long as overnight and discarding the water, cooking in 2x the water until tender, drain and steam on simmer until rice is fluffy.
Rice has naturally occuring arsenic. .Where it is
grown can increase the load.
China and India have a lot of arsenic in their water. But they aint the only ones ....
