Rice has naturally occuring arsenic. .Where it is
grown can increase the load.
China and India have a lot of arsenic in their water. But they aint the only ones ....

arsenic load can be reduced by washing dry rice until water is clear, soaking in 3x the water as long as overnight and discarding the water, cooking in 2x the water until tender, drain and steam on simmer until rice is fluffy.
