A family member urged me to try out Instagram again

I know people go to various sites for different reasons

but if I wanted to be reminded of my irrelevance in this big scary world, that's one place I could go--if I recall, it is a whole lot of "look at me! see! see!"

It means a great deal to me to perceive that I *know* people here--of course it's not the same as irl

but it has value and meaning even so.

Last month I rehomed (for free) a 1950s New Home Light Running (gold) #SewingMachine I had rescued from the neighbor's trash. Took some rehabbing, but it's beautiful & runs perfectly.

Also found a home, for free, for a 1947 Godzilla green magnesium White 77, portable in case, that I got for $30. I rehabbed it & now it sews perfectly. It went to someone who loves the White brand & knows how to care for them.

Felt good to thin my herd a bit of machines that I'm not using!

I am happy. I've been working on a single technical issue for 14 days solid. Many facets to the problem, and many dead end's and wild goose chases on the route to an acceptable and workable solution.
