Egypt triumphs in 100-year fight, declared Malaria-free
Egypt has been certified malaria-free by the World Health Organization (WHO) - an achievement hailed by the UN public health agency as "truly historic".
“Malaria is as old as Egyptian civilization itself, but the disease that plagued pharaohs now belongs to its history," said WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

A new from Cambridge University, released in Frontiers in Psychology, explores the idea that dyslexia isn’t a neurobiological disorder, as it is conventionally viewed. Instead, researchers say that dyslexia may have been an evolutionary advantage; specifically an ‘exploratory bias’ which led our ancestors with this trait to explore the unknown.
