House passes major veterans care act
The Senator Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Improvement Act, known as the Dole Act, passed on a bipartisan 389-9 vote.
Rep. Mike Bost (R-Ill.), chair of the House Veterans Affairs Committee, said a big provision is that the VA will no longer “get to decide where veterans should get their health care.”

@AnnetteTRemain There are some of the worst people all around us. I don't put ALL of any group in one bucket. While there may be some bad people in sports and acting, there are also some really good humanitarians among them with causes I support.
@Blueway Some of my proudest moments are when my 40 year old son calls me with someone on the other end thanking me for raising a respectful man. The people he works with, his customers at the post office, and his wife frequently thanks me.
