Mace introduces bill to bar trans women from Capitol restrooms

The resolution, which would prohibit members, officers and employees of the House from using single-sex facilities that correspond to their gender identity, comes just a week after Rep.-elect Sarah McBride (D-Del.) made history as the first openly transgender person elected to Congress.

McBride responds

“This is a blatant attempt from far right-wing extremists to distract from the fact that they have no real solutions to what Americans are facing,” McBride said. “We should be focused on bringing down the cost of housing, health care, and child care, not manufacturing culture wars. Delawareans sent me here to make the American dream more affordable and accessible and that’s what I’m focused on."

Girl, I'm sorry you were a victim of rape/sexual assault, but ain't no trans woman rape you.

Her concern over integrated single-sex facilities stems from being a survivor of sexual assault and rape.

“I want to see which of my male colleagues don’t support women up here. I dare them. Like, this is a place where I want your vote. I want it on record. I want to know where you stand. You protect us. Do we have rights as women or not?”

And please you BACK STABBER, don't let the words "Women's Rights come out of your lying MAGA mouth. You don't GAD about no Women's rights.

McBride says she will ‘follow the rules’ of House bathroom ban

“I’m not here to fight about bathrooms. I’m here to fight for Delawareans and to bring down the costs facing families. Like all members, I will follow the rules outlined by Speaker Johnson, even if I disagree with them,” McBride said Wednesday in a statement posted to the social platform X.

In a statement, Rep. Mark Pocan (D-Wis.), chair of the Congressional Equality Caucus, which promotes LGBTQ equality in the House, called Johnson’s new bathroom policy “a cruel and unnecessary rule that puts countless staff, interns, and visitors to the United States Capitol at risk.”

They say I’m a pervert They say I’m a man dressed as a woman. They say I’m a threat to their children. They say I’m confused, They say l'm dangerous. We’re all just people trying to pee in peace.

@nursefrombirth um…

“I want to see which of my male colleagues don’t support women up here.“

The answer is literally all of them don’t support women. Fuck, she doesn’t even support women.

@MotherDucker Not a single one. Hell, if she were truly concerned for her safety, she would be terrified of those amoral "male colleagues" of hers

@nursefrombirth All these damaged people who should be in therapy, instead of monetizing their pathology.

@nursefrombirth
Her concern stems from her being a huge fucking bigot.

@TomeReader @nursefrombirth

Absolutely. Anything else if a bullshit excuse that I don't think even she buys.

@nursefrombirth just shit on the House floor. That whole place is a clogged toilet.

@nursefrombirth The number of people who decide what's her face feeling "threatened" is cool but still are cool with Bobo and MTG carrying guns into Congress is disturbing. They're still doing that? What a bunch of jokes.

@nursefrombirth They have shown the world who they are with this congressional trans bathroom ban and are stupid enough to think they're winning

@nursefrombirth my thought is that all of the democrat women should use the men's restroom. Sarah is the only OPENLY trans woman. But as far as I know they're not checking.

@nursefrombirth If Johnson is so concerned about the safety of women in the Capitol, he should probably ban Trump's cabinet members from the building.

@Coctaanatis Indeed. What will they do to Sarah in the bathroom. I certainly wouldn't be using the bathroom with those sexual predators.
