This was the first site I signed up for in an effort to leave Twitter. I signed up for 7 others also. I'm disappointed in this one. There are a lot of good people I have interacted with here but not enough compared to other sites with less time spent. Thanks for your thoughts interaction and friendship. Signing off this site for a while to spend time developing the others.

@normsmusic It's not about settling though. There's a reason 'Influencer' accounts don't work because it's not that kind of site, and while many try us, it ultimately doesn't keep their bank accounts or engagement metrics ticking over. I think you need followers & clicks while CoSo is about genuine interactions
Don't forget, it was other people & publications who decided CoSo was one of the sites created to be 'Twitter 2.0' when it really wasn't - nor has it ever pretended to be 👍
@BillyBones Fur realz. The community is special here, I think it only works for me because my business was born here, and I've never stopped interacting with the community like I did on day one of trying to start my business. I post photos of new items when I just finished them and am excited about them, I ask questions and include the community in almost every big decision I make... I'm not advertising like I have to elsewhere, I'm just being myself.
@normsmusic The level of interaction comes and goes. It's been down due to the recent Hamas attack in Israel which has put a lot of people on edge. A lot of people are taking time off. Do what you feel is best.
@normsmusic Well, you can't tell the difference in Counter Social and Truth Social so I doubt it's a great loss to anyone here.

An excellent idea! And while you're "developing," perhaps you could do with some self-development. Maybe you can reach the point where you don't have to blame a social media platform for your own inability to engage an audience.
My real message posts get plenty of reach here, even with only 300 followers. Why? Because I understand the importance of engagement on social media. And because I'm not full of myself. 🤷♂️
