As far as I know, there is no Constitutional 'right to privacy', beyond SCOTUS striking down criminalisation of: sodomy, contraception, and abortion, and of course HIPAA Act which only applies to disclosures of health info **by healthcare providers/personnel + healthcare related facilities/companies/billing, etc.?
Certainly there is a legal definition for 'right to privacy', but (as yet) no Constitutional guarantee to such.
If I have restricted my posts to friends only, yes, they need a warrant.
But if I've posted it publicly, allowing any and all to share my post, no, that post never had privacy to lose.

lol! they already do--but it's not just the FBI, NSA has been doing it for at least 7-8 years nnow
@XSGeek @EileenKCarpenter @corlin
no, i've been a VERY vocal protester for years, and BIG supporter of EFF and other organisations in regard to privacy!

as for actual "Right to privacy" under the Constitution, start by looking here:

CORRECTION:
I regret to say that my remark about "7-8 years" was factually incorrect by a substantial amount. (My, how time has flown!) The correct length of time regardin NSA spying on us via the internet/our pcs, according to EFF, is since 2001 and 2005, making it at -least- 17 years.

Listen folks we NEED to talk about all this.
Without making it an emotional response.
It Is a very hard problem
And I have NO clue how to answer it.
