@BlueStateBabe If the light is on again or still when you got home the oil may be just pouring out. DO NOT drive it until you have a trusted mechanic take a look. It may have to be towed. Also just look under. is there oil everywhere?

I wonder if the regulations being rolled out across the ocean will have an effect on if items are made to be "smart" anymore... I'd sure love to have some old analogue devices again as an option instead of having a foot massage tub not work because it needs a firmware update.
If companies just went "ya know, maybe our product doesn't need to be online to function."
A device shoud not be brickable because the company no longer wants to offer support for it.

Check light came on when I was driving home, so pulled into gas station. It was 2 quarts low 😳 .
How long will it take for the light to go off? It was still on when I pulled into my parking spot at home (about 1 mile away).
The light came on briefly 2 weeks ago, then went off before I could get it checked. I thought maybe it was the weather but apparently not.
Is my car in trouble?
@BlueStateBabe I think your car may indeed be in trouble. The light should have gone off as soon as you leveled up the oil. Best case a leak / worst case head gasket is going.! Get it checked! Best wishes!
