@vo1de That is the fun of living on Earth. You can be what and who you are. Celebrate you! 🎉🎉🎉Full stop.
Good on you!
@Treebugz blessings and I'm sending healing energy to your wife, TB! 💚💚💚✨✨✨I don't do religion per se, but prayers up for her in my own way. 🙏🏼 I see this post was from yesterday, and I'm hoping you're with her now, and that you're both doing better. I visualize her in healing mode.💖💚💚💚
@TrueBloodNet hahaha I'm so glad!
@Netherbury I'm hoping your weather has calmed down !
@Netherbury Just a thought, but you might want to remove the lower (2) branches to make that tree less vulnerable in the wind. Cottonwoods in general are not known for being super strong in the wind. Best wishes with it! ✨💖
A picture from yesterday's MAGNIFICENT walk/Hobbit hunt here in New Zealand.
It's a waterfall that runs over a moss wall. So it's pretty much a natural furry wall.
20 mins in we ran into a super upset tourist who'd lost their brand new phone, then found out someone had found it for them while we were getting a (mandatory) ice cream at the end.
Sometimes people are pretty awesome😊
@Netherbury
Last storm (?2 weeks ago) we had TWO (6 inch where it broke out of the tree, by at least 15 feet long) branches break out of our ~ 60 foot or so douglas fir. Somehow the wind whipped them around and dropped them right at the base of the tree. We had limbed it up to about 20 feet up 2 years ago to avoid this.We were so lucky. Husband says either of them would've killed anyone underneath.
😟😳😵😵😵 #widowmakers.
IDK how big or what species your tree is but please be careful.🤔
@impermanence42
Looks so yummy to me minus the jalays! 😳🥺🔥🔥🔥😂
Oi!
There seems to be a whole chonk of people who just didn't / don't pay attention in their schooling time, so...
@Minholkin
Wow,that inspires me to pull my fridge out and clean the top and the compressor grate at the back. I don't have it in me to tackle the inside today.
Thanks for the inspiration, Min. 🙂
#pushupmysleeves
Indeed!😔😳😣
@peeppeepcircus that may have a been some part of the plan, but it seems to me that Pootie wants so much more. Moar!
Frankly, though, I think he's been hiding health issues and maybe (if we're fortunate) he will be out of power (maybe even pushing up daisies) soon (maybe in the next 12 months?) and maybe the orange menace will follow!
so true
@peeppeepcircus you're also right that it's been shocking to us, but we've had our eyes opened and we can't turn away now from doing our best. As a permaculture person, you know the importance of working with the planet! PS permaculture is my dream, but not sure if I'll get to work it this time around. I'm so happy for you that you're working it, and a little bit jealous! 🫂💖💖💖
@peeppeepcircus yes as to the things that are not preparable-for.. hmm like a volcano going off in your back yard??
Well. Shite happens. You're right. You can't prepare for everything. I guess for me the idea is to prepare as well as you can, and face each challenge as it comes, help where you can, but not in fear or worry. Those never help anything or anyone.
@peeppeepcircus 2/2
And yes, I'm part of the intuitive community, wherein it's clear (at least to us) that the Earth is renewing herself because we humans have screwed everything up so much. It's just happening earlier than it would otherwise have.
Just my opinion. Sending good will and good wishes your way. 🙂🙃🙂
