@peeppeepcircus I really do mean it, that we all need to store some water and food for the blackouts etc, and help our neighbors if we're able to, when stuff hits the fan. I (and my husband) am/are resource person(s) in our neighborhood esp at those times. I used to be a member of CERT, (til it got too militaristic) and their thought is, if you can take care of yourself and maybe a neighbor or two, that's one less pull on EMS when times are rough. Please don't take my reply as glib or off-handed: The planet is *not* hostile. It (she) is in a cleaning /rejuvenation cycle. We've dumped far too much pollution into the seas & air & all over the land & humans hv put everything out of balance.

The Earth is shaking things up now. Do your best to prepare, & hold on for the ride. It will get more intense for the next few years, before it gets better, (or easier,) for us all.
