Ravenscroft claimed he wrote the sax solo, and the guitar demo was only released years later, disproving his claims.
Rafferty was a tormented soul who hated the fame his talent earned.

@stueytheround
40 squids 😳
Was definitely cheaper first time around 😂😂

@FrankCannon I thought *we* were supposed to be the divisive ones 🤔

@FrankCannon im afraid there’s not much of that about these days, Frank

@FrankCannon just wondering if anyone has noticed the difference between Scottish nationalism and English nationalism yet?

🎶 Who builds the future?
Do they care why?
I know you're tired of tryin'
Listen clearly, you don't have to try 🎶

Why am I only finding out about Vampire Weekend now?

@killingfloorman @process
She even had the brass neck to sit as a pundit on ITV, wash her hands of any responsibility for the SNPs decline, and constantly referred to a party in which she is still a sitting MSP as ‘they’ and ‘them’

@killingfloorman @process
I think independence for the next generation actually died when Nicola Sturgeon became SNP leader

@process @killingfloorman

should be made stronger.

Too many don’t realise that the majority of Scotland’s problems can’t be solved until decisions about Scotland are actually made in Scotland. Not by a foreign government.

The SNP needs a thorough clearout and reset. If there is anyone who does not have independence as their driving motivation they should be weeded out.

@process @killingfloorman
We *were* playing the long game. Salmond’s strategy was progress through good governance, and it was working despite the defeat in ‘14.
Sturgeon took over a massively popular movement but let her ego take over. She kept the indy groups at arms length, claiming the SNP were the only show in town. She allowed careerists—much like Militant with Labour in the 80s—to hijack and minimise indy.
We have MPs & MSPs openly stating indy is not a priority for them; that devo /

@process
We have Unionists trumpeting that, as the SNP only have 9 MPs, independence is dead

These are the same people who argued that 55 SNP MPs did not mean a mandate for independence.

They lie, they cheat, and they change the rules to suit themselves

The indy argument will not be settled until the people have their say in an unambiguous referendum

Happy Independence Day to all my American friends 🇺🇸

We, here in Scotland, are currently waiting to find out what government another country is bestowing upon us.

Absolutely gobsmacked that the BBC didn’t spend the halftime break talking about Scotland…

No… wait…

…doesn’t work like that does it?

Our form going into this competition has been awful, with goals being shipped left, right & centre against the top teams.
We are so powder puff it’s difficult to understand where the team that beat Spain and won in Oslo has gone.

I’ve seen lose to Peru & Cost Rica. Seen them scrape a draw against Iran, but last night was one of the most humiliating performances I’ve ever seen from them. And it’s all down to the manager.
Clarke set them up in a 5-4-1 with a gaping corridor between defence and midfield so wide that good—never mind elite—players would exploit with little problem.
Players take some of the rap for meekly lying down, but this was on the manager.
Must do better in next game against the Swiss
