@divisionbyzero we used to do this when I was in HS for marching band practice. 6AM-11AM, before the heat, last 2 weeks before school started (after Labor Day).
@Shelter @TrueBloodNet thought that was for the DC-J6-Insurrection one, not the Georgia-Find-Me-More-Votes one
Yep. It really is. I Googled for confirmation, and lo-

Yesterday I went to Whole Foods and parked next to a pick-up towing a small trailer. As I got out, I realized the entire back of the truck was covered with MAGA bumper stickers with the usual nonsense.
Everything radiated out from a big sticker proclaiming the owner "PUREBLOOD."
Never have I had the whole tRump = Voldemort, Slytherin = White Supremacist thing so clearly defined.
@BlueStateBabe that's cool!! I have a. couple of crocheted shawls made with the transitional yarn, and a few knitted ones hibernating and/or completed as well. It's looking good π
@BlueStateBabe What's the project?
I have this wall...flower for lack of a better term (lol) that I did with a rainbow gradient. The puff sts almost killed me with the 4 strands but it's very pretty!
@Nerdsleaze no local butcher shops?
@Cryspeg they're just mad it wasn't on Friday the 13th.
@redenigma @BlueStateBabe Hobbii's Twister has the color changes as well, but it's plied so it's not splitty *at all*. Also it's 1000 yards, which is reeeally nice lol
@redenigma @BlueStateBabe Oh, and Michael's used to carry it too (it's a wrap), but stopped a few years ago.
@redenigma @BlueStateBabe Joann's used to sell it in their stores, but stopped. I just bought some from the online shop, I think they're trying to clearance it out. Look for It's A Wrap Rainbow - Red Heart, 623yds/150gr.
I get most of my transition yarn from Hobbii online. They have nice sales and fast shipping from Denmark!
@redenigma @BlueStateBabe I've used It's a Wrap, Hobby Lobby's Wrapsody (disco'd), Wolltraum's My Meoldyy, and Hobbii's Cotton Kings/Sultan, and it's really varied from brand to brand. It's A Wrap needed the guide bead the most, I think.
@redenigma @BlueStateBabe When you use an unplied yarn that transitions (like this one does), it's a good idea to use a 6/0 bead to keep the strands together while you work with it. :D
@BlueStateBabe I use that yarn too! Do you use a bead to keep them together?
@voltronic I'm only using the browser version (adv mode) but I've had to refresh the tab a few times. Thought it was the browser being weird.
