@EnochianEntropy I was using a knitting machine at the kitchen table and had a sore butt. Rocking back and forth on a wooden unpadded chair bruised my sit bones!

okay, really going to bed now. Damn Midwest Farewells!!!

Nighters, CosoPeeps

@Teej_Muk Another friend lives on a farm in Scappoose, downriver from PDX! They sell eggs and things, and are on FB: :D

@scottyorange all of my computers have names. All. I have them networked and they needed names to tell them apart!

Some old ones and the newest, in no particular order:

Fred
Pacman
Baby Blue
Alice
Harry
Perry
Ziggy
Dizzy <--lappy I'm on
Minerva <--the Mac
Lenny

Fred was the first, and was a Win 95/98 lappy that I thing Fred Flintstone used, it was 13" monster & weighed about 15 lbs. Ergo, Fred. lol

@Teej_Muk We didn't pay to go in, but they did let us into the gift shop. Which is under the wing of that surprise in the big hanger! I was geeking out for a while over that lol

@Teej_Muk We went whale watching too...the only clear day and it was great weather. Next day was high seas and foggy - I have a picture of Otter Rock Lighthouse and you can't see the actual building at all from the parking lot. lol

I'm landlocked, so seeing the Pacific was a treat :D

@Teej_Muk Yep, the gallery is right next to the park! :D

We stayed at the south end of LC, just north of Siletz Bay.

The drive down from PDX was quite nice. The Evergreen Aviation Museum was a surprise, tho. and I could NOT believe what was in the big hanger! wow.

The sunset from my rental balcony Sept 23, 2021 (not October!)

@Teej_Muk A good spot for agate gravel collecting is Fogerty Beach, if you wander down that way!

@Teej_Muk I have friends that live in Newport, and she volunteers at the Pacific Artists' Co-Op Gallery in Lincoln City.

We totally splurged and stayed at a Vrbo - there were 7 of us there for 5 days, so it was abt $350ish a person. I brought back lots of seaglass and some agate - and one of our party almost found one of the blown glass globes on the beach! We had a great time, would recommend. Wish it was closer to an airport, tho.

We flew in/out of PDX.

@Kittiekatt53 I called her back at 7:50. She immediately starts on about the rental, and I interrupted her to tell her I didn't OWN it, and "Sorry, ma'am, but that number is wrong."

She says, then what is the number? I dunno, I don't own the place. she says, well, fine! and hangs up on me. No apology, nada.

Jeez, woman, if I DID own the place, I sure wouldn't want YOU as a tenant.

someone called me this AM 45 minutes before my alarm & left a message, Then called back immediately *twice* when I didn't answer the phone (It was 7:45AM, I get up at 8:30 to be at work at 10!!)

When I called her back, she got pissy at ME because I told her she had the wrong phone number. Lady, I don't own a rental property. gtfo

Drove by the place tonight after work to discover half the '1's looked like '7's on the For Rent signs. Sharpie to the rescue.

Don't cold call ppl at 7:45AM. jeez
