The Wife is quite happy this morning. She's been barking about that raw arch for 9 years. It's a wonder I lived this long. 😀 💟

This was a rough archway inour guest bathroom since 2013. It may not look like much, but it took over 1 year to design and another 4 months to fabricate (by me and the machines I made) and 2 months to install.

I just finished it a few minutes ago.

Morning walk in San Francisco.

I looked over at a car to read what flyer was on the windshield.

"Stop funding Ukraine."

The Doves have as little perspective on mankind as the Hawks.

If Russia wins, they continue to conquest through to the Baltic Sea. Then we have a nuclear exchange - because they have nothing left to lose.

Degrading their capacity in Ukraine is the most peaceful strategy.

One of the constant problems I see with my corporate clients (enterprise-level execs) is that they have an overly simplistic model of how their operation works.

I'm all about simplifying.

But, you first have to comprehend the complexity of the present. There are usually a lot of relevant items buried in there that deserve to live on in the future processes.

Meanwhile, I navigate the inevitable minefield of assumptions.

The earthquake deaths in Turkey just surpassed 20,000.
Absolutely tragic.

Now, what is the "problem"?

I would consider the following:
a) Building methods that are incompatible with earthquakes that happen in that region
b) The authorities have not established procedures to address every scenario, no matter how catastrophic, to save lives when that qty of building collapses

I'm working on "b".

Ultimately, I believe the UN could provide this expedient support.

True innovations fix problems.

If there isn't a problem to fix, it's not an innovation.

If the traditional way of doing it is working, there isn't a problem to fix.

If you still think you have an innovative idea, maybe you still don't understand the problem?

I just got a notice that I've exceeded my limit on daily tweets!
I probably sent out less than 8 today.

Theory: No capable project manager has ever become a conspiracy theorist.

Anyone that has attempted to manage a project involving multiple people will know how hard it is to keep everyone aligned on the goal and to efficiently deliver it.

Expecting everyone to also keep it quiet, forever, is a step beyond that.

Doing it using a government organization is a step beyond that.

If these numbers are correct, over 1000 Russian soldiers died in one day.

That doesn't happen without extraordinary incompetence in leadership and a complete lack of valuing human life.

Here is what it will ultimately look like on each of the 4 columns.

The 3d printer has been delivering a lot of nice pieces for the cornice project in our guest bedroom.
Now I need to print about 140 leaves.

This account just followed me on Twitter.

Russian flag in her profile.
The Russians have been banking Twitter accounts for a long time.

CNN stated that a second chinese baloon spotted over latin America.

I'm also at risk of running out of vodka.
I just hope I get to try some of it.

I'm going on day 3 of the visit of my brother-in-law without my wife here to buffer us.

So far nobody has been injured.

I suspect I'll learn even more about the Bible than I knew before - whether I want to or not.

I just got word that Laguna Honda Hospital got a reprieve from CMS (Fed. Govt) on discharging patients until May 19th!

The press doesn't even know about this yet. I'm trying to get the details to them now.

This will probably save 100 lives this year.

My alarm didn't go off.
Slept 10 hrs.
Woke up 12 mins before my first meeting.
Glad I work from home!!!
