- Sometimes things have to get really bad for the demolition to commence
- The GOP brought this on
- The backlash from independents may be the demolition

Any problem you don't yet understand can be broken down, ultimately, into understandable parts.

That doesn't always solve the problem, though.

You may need to assemble some of those parts back together to find the solution.

And, this is a peek into how to break down a super-big Problem into smaller parts so that innovation can start delivering Solutions.

This is how I'm starting to organize "The Problems" relative to "The Solutions". It's resonating with innovators.

I believe that the smartest people in the world (and those on CoSo) should devote a little time understanding "The Problems".

I believe we spend too much ineffective time thinking about, or debating "The Solutions".

Maybe discussing, unveiling, more details about The Problem is less contentious?

I've been focused on Wildfire Management lately. I spend a lot of my personal time talking to experts in this space. I'm continually reassured that too little effort is made defining the problems

I spent Thursday meeting a bunch of wildfire experts at a Wildfire Resources Fair.

I've been working on this topic for 8 months and every time I meet new people I learn more fundamental things.

And, after spending 25 years working on solutions I'm now more excited making sense out of the Problems.

Once I get this methodology in place I think it could be a fantastic resource for anyone trying to "solve" the big problems out there.

But first, let's figure out "Wildfires".
