I spent Thursday meeting a bunch of wildfire experts at a Wildfire Resources Fair.

I've been working on this topic for 8 months and every time I meet new people I learn more fundamental things.

And, after spending 25 years working on solutions I'm now more excited making sense out of the Problems.

Once I get this methodology in place I think it could be a fantastic resource for anyone trying to "solve" the big problems out there.

But first, let's figure out "Wildfires".

So far, politics is going to be a really messy factor.
Not everyone wants the fires to be put out quickly. There is a lot of money to be made in the meantime.

@jurban There will always be those that want the dollars. But, I do think that it also has a lot to do with how major departments manage forest fires. USFS manages differently than say Cal Fire.

@PBandJmom
Yes. Inter-agency coordination has a lot of room for improvement.
And, the long term policies for forest management need refinement and wide deployment. I see a lot more prescriptive burning. Biochar is beneficial to the soil!
