The creation of personal wealth
Is highly correlated
With discipline

My wife had planned on a party for her team a couple weeks before Christmas.

She got COVID. It was postponed to the 2nd week of January.

I got COVID. It was postponed until February 16 (tomorrow).

Someone on her team tested positive after working all day with the team.

Now it's postponed to March.

Everyone's an expert whey they have an idea.

Few ever understand the problem.

"...Santorum’s come-from-behind surge...."

Robert Costa definitely didn't have to write it that way - but he definitely wanted to.

Looks like a flailing effort
to introduce a solution
by someone
that doesn't understand
the problem.

Eloquence and intensity
do not precisely correlate
to intelligence or wisdom.

A new project has started.

A slightly recessed arch detail.
Currently just a simple surface with some candles mounted inside.

This will turn it into a beveled-mirror detail with a coving frame.

I'd like to do it in marble, but I don't have the skill or tools. So, it will be wood with a semi-gloss paint.

I remember in 1999 a friend of mine asked if I wanted to go to Afghanistan to do charity work.
As dumb as I was back then, I still knew enough not to do that.

He said on Bill Maher last Friday that his role was doing intel operations. I didn't hear him say he was in actual combat, but close to it.

The Wife is quite happy this morning. She's been barking about that raw arch for 9 years. It's a wonder I lived this long. 😀 💟

This was a rough archway inour guest bathroom since 2013. It may not look like much, but it took over 1 year to design and another 4 months to fabricate (by me and the machines I made) and 2 months to install.

I just finished it a few minutes ago.

Morning walk in San Francisco.

I looked over at a car to read what flyer was on the windshield.

"Stop funding Ukraine."

The Doves have as little perspective on mankind as the Hawks.

If Russia wins, they continue to conquest through to the Baltic Sea. Then we have a nuclear exchange - because they have nothing left to lose.

Degrading their capacity in Ukraine is the most peaceful strategy.

One of the constant problems I see with my corporate clients (enterprise-level execs) is that they have an overly simplistic model of how their operation works.

I'm all about simplifying.

But, you first have to comprehend the complexity of the present. There are usually a lot of relevant items buried in there that deserve to live on in the future processes.

Meanwhile, I navigate the inevitable minefield of assumptions.

HIs mind and discernment is degrading.
Unlike Clapton whom is actually recognizing his earlier intransigence as he ages.
