Well, that was one shitty day.

Stuck in a elevator, escaped, and warned the building manager.

Berated by the building manager.

Informed the HOA of the berating.

Berated, individually by members of the HOA while escalating to my wife. (she already knew)

Friend completely lost it after telling the story and almost became an ex-friend without me saying much of anything.

WTF is going on?

Sure, I didn't handle everything perfectly. But, that was a series of undeserved, nasty reactions!

@WeThePeople

Residents in Shanghai shouted desperately from the building: "We are going to starve to death, when will we have food?!"

Yes, but Juliet/Maria survives in this one.
The layers are at the level of race and immigration and economic disparity and the consequences of progress. While Bill Shakespeare pretty much documented all stories we'll ever re-tell, there are always angles for improvement and extension on the core story.

Just watched the latest version of West Side Story.

So many layers!

Someday there will be an equivalent between a Russian and Ukraine teenager.

I often have to sleep with a spouse that has consumed these hell-seeds. My life is put at-risk each time.

@WeThePeople
That's because there are fewer live cats. Someone should have placed the cat on the dead tank!

It would seem that a very effective tactic to limit Russian logistics would be to send commandos to train bridges and take them out. I'm sure the Ukrainian military have thought about it. A friend with an intimate understanding of Russian black markets said it's easy to purchase C4 in Belarus or Russia.

Hey @Render,
If the Russian tanks used in the north now have to drive for 1200 Km to reach the Donbas (region instead of using trains), wouldn't that wear out a certain portion of them and lower the qty available to fight? Or, make them even less effective once they engage the fight?
The Russians seem stupid enough to do that instead of waiting for better logistic methods to be implemented. Seems like their effectiveness in the east should be discounted.

@Render
"99% of losses are due to artillery."

I saw a news interview about how the use of small drones (sUAV) was providing the intel for artillery gunners (?) to to target more effectively. If so, that would make sUAVs a critical part of any war moving forward.

@Janet @WeThePeople
At some stage the culture becomes evil.
If the Russian culture has not already passed that threshold, it is quickly approaching it.

@Render @AkomoCombine
But the last thing the world needs is India and Pakistan engaging in a nuclear war.

@WeThePeople
Whatever extremists are rallying against is almost always what they are most guilty of.

@Render
It seems to establish a moral axis of High, Med., Low for the world's cultures.
